Notes ------------ There are a couple of differences between the Storm King's Thunder map and the "all locations" main map, besides the obvious inclusion of more locations on the main map. The Storm King's Thunder map is true to the map published in that book, with no changes made to "correct it" to make it more in line with the original maps of this region, published in the late 1980s-1990s. However, a couple of changes were made to fit the originals better in the "all locations" map. The first is the hills and mountains around the Nether/Rauvin region. The "all locations" map was modified to fit in more with the original maps published in the Forgotten Realms, as the current edition maps have roads and paths going in different directions, yet retaining the same name. This map follows the original depiction of the area. The second is the location of Mornbryn's Shield. Originally this town was always at the junction of the Surbrin and the Laughingflow rivers, and this is where it is on the "all locations" map. Storm King's Thunder moved it north, while retaining some of the same sites in town that were described in "Volo's Guide to the North" over twenty years ago as being in a different location. The "all locations" map keeps it in the original location (which also gives more room between it and the town of Hopefast). Any questions about these changes, or any other queries, can be directed to the DM's Guild discussion board! Changelog ------------ 26/12/16 AEST Version 1.0 released. 28/12/16 AEST Version 1.0 reuploaded without any changes due to a problem with the initial upload. 03/01/17 AEST Version 1.0 SKT maps in both colour & black and white, as well as the 1374 colour map, were reuploaded due to a problem with the second upload.
